Rhythms of the South Tour

Spend eight days exploring the rhythms of the Deep South, visiting cities that have changed the world’s musical stage. Alongside fellow travellers, journey through the states of Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi and Louisiana, and discover a region with music running through its veins.

Explore the captivating South, a region full of life and full of passion. Its dynamic culture is defined by its iconic delicacies, legendary history and, of course, its enchanting music. In a region with cities that gave the world jazz, blues, country, soul and rock ‘n’ roll, it’s no wonder music forms the cornerstone of the way of life here. The Deep South’s rhythms are simply inescapable. Let yourself be moved by the soft notes of jazz in New Orleans, pull on your cowboy boots and hit the dance floor of some of Nashville’s many Honky Tonks, and relax into a slower tempo in Memphis as you enjoy some blues on Beale Street.

Along the way, you’ll discover the influences that made the region the musical mecca it is today. Learn of the South’s history, including tales of the American Civil War and the American Civil Rights Movement, as you visit a working plantation, gaze at stunning antebellum architecture and explore Natchez, the oldest European settlement along the Mississippi River.
