Itinerary Breakdown

Upon arrival at Bariloche airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel where you will stay for the next three nights. Rest of the day is at leisure to either relax or explore the town.

Today you have a full day excursion to Puerto Blest. Sail the full length of the Blest arm on a 100 ft. catamaran, which is extremely safe and stable in any kind of weather. Port Blest is at the western end of the arm, it is reported to be one of the wettest spots in Argentina, with an annual rain and snowfall of nearly 140 inches. This explains the very lush vegetation and the temperate rain forest. Here you have the possibility to take lunch at Hotel Blest (not included).

Afterwards continue on to Port Cantaros, from where a boardwalk follows a scenic route up to the Cantaros Lake. This walk, with its seven hundred steps is in a deep and very wet rainforest, with flora, especially fungus and mushrooms, it is not accessible anywhere else in the park. Return back to the dock, where you will sail back to the Puerto Pañuelo Port. Then transfer by bus to Bariloche.

 Overnight at your hotel.

Today is at leisure giving you the opportunity to explore the town on foot or simply just contemplate the stunning landscape. Or why not opt to take a tour to see the impressive Tronador Mountain (optional extra - please enquire for prices)?
