Your adventure begins with a stay in one of Memphis’ deluxe downtown hotels. You can enjoy the evening at your leisure in the home of the King. Make sure to take in some of this vibrant city’s shops, bars, live blues music and mouth watering famous BBQ. Between 2:00pm and 7:00pm, you will be able to meet with an American Queen Steamboat Company representative at the hotel who will be able to discuss any questions that you may have about the upcoming week as well as offering suggestions on sightseeing options for your night in Memphis.
With the cruise set to depart at 17:00 this evening, you have the morning free to immerse yourself in the world class musical history of Memphis and its southern soul.. The official Voyage Check-In will be open from 9:00am to 12:00pm, so make sure to stop back at the hotel to complete this quick and easy procedure where the American Queen Steamboat Company representative will arrange your transfer to the vessel. If you are unsure of how to spend your morning in Memphis, the representative will be able to assist in booking you a Premium Shore Excursion with an afternoon transfer to the American Queen. The complimentary boat transfers will begin at 3:00pm.
Cruising the Mississippi river
Today you can relax aboard the American Queen and appreciate your luxurious surroundings. Today will be spent in the Mississippi’s oldest city and the city which is often called the jewel in its crown - Natchez.
