From Nashville hit the open road as you make your way to Memphis, known as the Birthplace of Rock n Roll. Day 1


The State Capital of Tennessee, Nashville is famous for its strong connection to country music. Explore some of Music City's iconic sights from the Ryman Auditorium the original home of the Grand Ole Opry radio show or catch the show for yourself at its new home at the Opryland complex. Downtown Nashville is brimming with music related museums from Historic RCA Studio B where Dolly Parton, Roy Orbison and Elvis Presley recorded some of their greatest hits and the Country Music Hall of Fame to the Johnny Cash Museum. For a firsthand taste of the fantastic music created in Nashville head to Downtown's Second Avenue and Broadway district and discover the lively Honky Tonks.

Hit the open road as you make your way by car from the Country Music filled streets of Nashville to Memphis, Home of the Blues.

You can take the I-40 directly to Memphis however a stop en-route at Casey Jones Village in Jackson is a great way to break up the drive. Stop for lunch at Brooks Shaw's Old Country Store for an authentic southern buffet before heading back on the I-40 to Memphis.

This vibrant southern city is known not only as the 'Home of the Blues' but also as the 'Birthplace of Rock n Roll'. Discover the rich musical history of this energetic city at Sun Studio, the Stax Museum of American Soul Music and the Memphis Rock 'n' Soul Museum and of course no visit to Memphis would be complete without a visit to Elvis' former home Graceland.

New Orleans

Explore the lively streets of the 'Big Easy' during your stay in New Orleans. Take a stroll through the narrow cobbled streets of the history French Quarter, stop by the Cafe Du Monde for a delicious Beignet, board a trolley and take a ride through the beautiful Garden District or sip a cocktail in the city where they were first invented.
