Located on a farm, set beside the shores of Lake Naivasha, Loldia House is an original Kenyan home, built during WW2 by the Italian Prisoner’s of War. With a gentle pace of life, you’ll experience the life of Kenya’s early settlers, with the opportunity to relax and explore the Great Rift Valley.
With a choice of desirable accommodation, decide to stay in the old family house, furnished in the original settler style, or in one of the surrounding cottages with magnificent views across the lake and out to Mount Longonot, an extinct volcano. For families, or small groups of friends, the uniquely built Top Cottage accommodates three bedrooms and its own living room with open log fire.
Loldia House is just a two hour drive from Nairobi, and also conveniently located to the iconic Lake Nakuru National Park. Consider combining your stay with Governors Main Camp, Little Governors, or Il Moran in the Masai Mara, to complete your Kenyan adventure.
