We suggest starting your journey at the iconic Hemingways Nairobi, spending two nights here. This allows for you to rejuvenate after the international flight, ready to start your adventure. Spend your first few days exploring the landscaped gardens and watch the day draw in from the Hemingways Bar with outstanding views of the Ngong Hills. During your stay, we recommend a visit to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, famous for rehabilitating orphaned elephants, and the Giraffe Sanctuary, to see the Rothschild giraffe.
Although it means an early start, we'd encourage that on day 3 you take a short flight to the Maasai Mara, to Ol Seki Hemingways Mara. Spend the following three days enjoying the wonderful wildlife and culture that a safari in Kenya has to offer. An experience that is worth considering is a sunrise hot air balloon ride. Admire the Mara plains beneath you as you keep an eye out for remarkable wildlife sightings.
On day 6, we suggest taking another short flight as you depart the Mara and travel to the coast, to Hemingways Watamu. We recommend spending four or more nights in this tropical paradise perched on the white golden sands and turquoise water of the Watamu Marine National Park. This is the opportunity to relax on the beach or beside the pool with your favourite book and a refreshing beverage. Dine al fresco on the beach under the stars as you immerse yourself in traditional Swahili flavours.

By limiting entry to clients actually staying inside the conservancy, the safari experience remains very private, due to fewer vehicles.
