Seminyak Holidays

Seminyak holidays are simply sublime. If your dream holiday to Bali involves seriously chilled days spent on golden sandy beaches and evenings tucking into fine dining, than Seminyak is the place for you.

Seminyak manages to mix sophistication and high-end beach resorts with an easy-breezy relaxed ambience. Just north of Kuta on the western coast of Bali, Seminyak’s beaches are as beautiful as Kuta Beach, but come with the added bonus of being less crowded. There’s also a really cool beach club culture in Seminyak. World-class hotels and beach clubs line the long stretches of golden sand.

Your days can be spent lazing in cabanas at resorts like Potato Head Beach Club. If you’re a coffee fan then we highly recommend you head to Revolver, Seminyak’s coffee bar that has gained a cult following.

Meanwhile, Double Six Beach is the place to go to sip a refreshing drink at a bar with your toes sunk into golden sands.

Foodies are truly welcomed in Seminyak - you will be delighted by the array of fine dining options available. You can even brush up on your culinary skills at The Amala with a cooking lesson from a top Balinese chef.

Don’t leave without experiencing a traditional Balinese massage at one of Seminyak’s amazing spas. Seminyak is the perfect place if you are seeking relaxed barefoot luxury during your holiday in Bali.

Seminyak Holidays: Go Beyond the Beach

There’s more to Seminyak holidays than time spent on the beach. There are plenty of wonderfully delightful boutique shops to explore. Or, why not seek some ancient culture?

Between the glitz and glamour of Seminyak’s boutique shops is one of Bali’s most important sea temples, Petitenget Temple, also known as Pura Petitenget. Built to ward off dark forest spirits, this centuries-old temple has a rustic charm with its red bricks and dragon staircase. Petitenget Temple is wonderfully located - where its lush gardens are coupled with scenic coastal views. Petitenget Temple is still used today by local people as a place of worship, and a visit to soak up all the culture here is highly recommended. And, if you time your visit so that you’re there just before sundown, you can head to the nearby Petitenget Beach afterwards to experience one of Bali’s best sunsets.

Destination Highlights
  • Learn to surf at Echo Beach - its advanced reef breaks, panoramic seascape and sunsets are out of this world
  • Visit the centuries-old Petitenget Temple, one of Bali’s most important sea temples
  • Witness the sunset with a sundowner in the rooftop Sunset Bar on Double Six Beach
  • Enjoy an utterly divine Balinese massage in one of Seminyak’s sublime spas
