Sapa holidays immerse you in the history, culture and breath-taking scenery of Vietnam. From the majestic Hoang Lien Son Mountains to the centuries-old working rice paddies, the intense beauty and inspiring local industry will steal your heart.

The idyllic small mountain town of Sapa is situated in the Lào Cai Province in the northwest of Vietnam. Surrounded by spectacular mountains, rivers and waterfalls, you’ll have the chance to encounter the unique culture of Sapa’s ethnic hill tribes while mingling with the diverse array of fellow visitors. The stunning natural beauty of the area continues through the forest regions, where you can experience Sapa trekking for days among lush countryside, villages and rice fields.

The enchanting beauty of Sapa holidays

Standing 1,500 meters above sea level, you’ll soon become ensconced by the seemingly endless charm and beauty of the Sapa region as you gaze down onto the valleys and fields below. Once you’re fully settled into the fresh, tranquil serenity of the mountains, find your way down to the hustle and bustle of the markets and street stalls where the colourful surroundings and energetic atmosphere are equally enthralling.

As well as the glorious peaks and peaceful valleys of Sapa, there are many more Sapa tour spots well worth your gaze. As well as experiencing the culture first hand, a visit to the Sapa Culture Museum gives you an insight into the rich local history. Exhibits and galleries will enlighten you to everything from fashions through the ages of Sapa to the fascinating traditions and how the local culture has developed. Venture further afield and you’ll soon find yourself in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. Just as picturesque and fascinating, Hanoi is renowned for its magnificent architecture and a medley of Southeast Asian, Chinese and French cultural influences.

"Interact with different indigenous communities living in the hills, such as the H’Mong, Yao and Zay people. It’s easy to start a conversation, as most will speak English. If you’re lucky, you may even be invited into their homes for a meal.”
