Koh Phangan Holidays

A tropical cocktail of stunning sandy beaches, swaying palms, lush green jungles and clear turquoise waters, Koh Phangan offers the best of both worlds.

Known lovingly as the land of the coconut trees, enjoy a true get-away-from-it-all feel on this luxurious island where zip-lining above the rainforest and partying on the beach under a full moon is second nature. If you’re after a bit of peace and quiet, Koh Phangan is still for you: tuck yourself away in one of the isle’s heavenly resorts and treat yourself to a spa escape, or simply relax on the warm beach with your book in hand and not a care in the world. This is perfect paradise.

Once you’re done relaxing, head to nearby Koh Samui for shopping in Bophut and temple exploring, or twin your Koh Phangan trip with a stay in Koh Tao, home to sandy coves and secluded bays.

Koh Phangan really is a nature lover’s paradise. The island is not that big – and can easily be explored. The waters around the island are crystal clear, and there are lots of great snorkelling and diving sites. But if you would rather stay on terra firma, get your walking shoes on and discover the many hiking trails, waterfalls and staggering viewpoints. Yoga and wellness centres are easily found around the island – so if you are looking to detox a little, this is an ideal destination. In contrast, don’t forget that this is the home to the original “Full Moon” party – and now you can celebrate the “Half Moon” and “Black Moon”.

  • Wildlife

Thailand is undoubtedly a nature lover's dream location.

  • Thai Food

Street food stalls are dotted throughout Thailand's streets in every city and town and offer a great way to taste authentic Thailand.

If you ever find yourself on the vibrant isle of Koh Phangan be sure to taste the island's specialities called No Names. These spicy little fritters are served with a delicate dipping sauce and are perfect with a cold Chang beer or a coconut and pineapple milkshake – bliss.”
