Wonderful stay

Reykjavik, Iceland

We stayed here for more than 3 weeks on our first trip to Thailand and the resort is great, I think we’ve booked the superior with sea view, and it couldn't be more perfect. The room was spacious and the view gorgeous. The breakfast buffet was really good with a lot of options. The staff at the front desk was exceptional, super friendly and helpful. The hotels area is great, the beach is nice and once you leave the hotel you can find some restaurants close by, we made a lot of friends there and the food. 6 days before leaving, our AC stopped working and literally burned, they came to fix it and it was cool with us, but the guys at the reception went beyond and upgrade us for out last 5 days to a Villa with pool. That was a big surprise and made our experience memorable. We thank all the team for being so nice and for making us feel extra special :)

The most relaxing place to visit

Chester-le-Street, United Kingdom

I wanted to visit Thailand 🇹🇭 again it’s been around 11 years since my last visit. I looked at my options and found this hotel. I read the reviews and thought it sounded perfect for what I was looking for. As I’ve been to Thailand many times before I wasn’t looking for loads of things to do. I needed a place where I could relax and recharge my batteries. I booked the perfect place! I arrived late at night I was greeted with a warm Smile from the staff a cold drink and cold towel to cool myself down with. I was taken to my room which was beautiful clean and very spacious. A huge bed which after almost 30 hrs of travelling was calling my name. I took a bath in the huge tub (not all room types have a bath tub but the showers are great too) Then went to sleep, the next day I took breakfast and went for a walk around the grounds to see what was here. I then spent my day by the pool looking at the stunning beach. I stayed all inclusive there’s not many places close by so you will have to either eat at hotel or travel. The food is great different themes each night and even then they have different things available on those nights each week so you don’t get bored. The cocktails menu is great loads to choose from I’m happy as Long Island Ice tea is on there and Mike makes the best ones and always was at the ready to make me one. The pool is great it looks out on to the sea and u can watch the surfers 🏄‍♀️ and relax. I haven’t been on any trips so can’t comment on those. I have used the taxi service to get a taxi to the local night markets don’t forget to barter with them!! They expect it! We used to book as a group of 10 of us and cost 300 bhat each way. So worked out as very little. Moo moos is worth a visit for lady boy show no fee just buy a couple of drinks. Across the road from the market there’s a nice restaurant it has umbrellas hanging from ceiling they make the best spring rolls and tempura prawns! Fairly cheap too! Elephants there is a elephant sanctuary about 10/15 min walk from the hotel 5 mins from villas. It’s behind memories bar then take a left. Then u will see some kite type flags go up that road about 200 yards there are no signs. It’s small they have around 6 elephants. It was 200 bhat to feed them extra 100 bhat per extra basket. The elephants have been rescued and the staff are lovely. You can go a bathe with them I don’t know the cost as I don’t want to do that. Defiantly worth a visit pity it’s not better sign posted though. I spent 2 hrs there as I love elephants but u can spend as long or a little as u want. There’s a baby one about 4 years old he’s full of sass. They have pregnant one too so they will have a tiny baby elephant but not sure when it’s due. Overall I loved my holiday, if you want to chill out and relax it’s the perfect place. Couple things that could be improved the temperature of the food it’s not always hot even when it’s fresh out the kitchen. Also coconut ice cream is the best but only on once in two weeks!! Maybe have ice cream available more for kids during the day. I think the fruit and salads should be covered to stop flies and birds getting to them! Some salads were not in fridge in the heat that’s not hygienic!! All inclusive I don’t get the reason why if your all inclusive you can’t get drinks from all the bars!! It’s a bit silly!! Also I think you should be able to get soft drinks before 11 am. It’s hot and if your by the pool you need to stay hydrated. Maybe have a waiting service around the pool for guests. I enjoyed my stay and would visit this hotel again! Hopefully at a time it’s not full of screaming kids!! I met great people there during my stay which also made my holiday.
