Baja California Holidays

Baja California Sur maybe one of Mexico's lesser known regions compared to some of it's more famous counterparts. However, this stunning region of Mexico is packed with adventure, stunning scenery, luxury hotels and wildlife just waiting for you to explore. It is a paradise for sport lovers either on land or at sea, the climate allows sport enthusiasts such as surfers and golfers a year-round destination to do what they love. The crystal blue waters are home to an abundance of wildlife - grab your camera and head on many whale watching excursions, or spectate the packs of sealions swimming in these waters.

As there aren't any direct flights to this region - it is the perfect opportunity to see another destination along to the way. Enjoy gastronomic delights in Mexico City and appreciate the fusion of the old and new, or stop off in the glamourous Los Angeles for a spot of shopping and exploring 'Tinseltown' before heading to the golden sands of the Baja California Sur region.

Los Cabos

With high end resorts, bars and restaurants, Los Cabos offers unlimited luxury and is the perfect upscale resort for those looking for something special. A trip to Los Cabos is all about getting out and exploring; it retains an authentic and charming Mexican feel along with blissfully peaceful beaches and traditional culture. Los Cabos is made up of two distinct regions; San Jose del Cabo offers a tranquil setting whereas Cabo San Lucas is lively and perfect for those who venture out after the sun goes down. For nature lovers, you can see various species of whale migrating through the Sea of Cortez with some tours guaranteeing sightings of up to six species. A Los Cabos holiday would not be complete without a visit to 'El Arco', this stunning rock formation is part of the jagged coastline across this region which is postcard perfect.

Located right at the tip of the Baja California peninsula in Mexico, Los Cabos is the main tourist area for this region and has a fascinating history. Spanish conquistadors discovered pearls here in the 16th century. These days, this hilly region of spectacular beaches hasn’t lost its magical feel. It manages to perfectly balance upscale hotels and glorious marinas with a charming Mexican feel. You’re going to treasure your experience here.

  • Whale watching

The Sea of Cortez plays home to a range of different species of whales, witness majestic humpback whales up close and personal in their natural environment on our whale watching tours. The official whale watching season in Los Cabos begins on the 15th December through to the 15th April with many other species including orcas in the winter along with Bryde's and minke whales.

  • El Arco

    El Arco

You’ll want to photograph the famed rock formation ‘El Arco’ in Cabo San Lucas while you’re here. Nicknamed ‘Lands End,’ it’s where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortéz and is a sight to behold.
