Lovina Holidays

Lovina holidays are perfect if you are seeking a more authentic Balinese experience. Located on the north coast, Lovina is famous for its striking black sand beaches, incredible sunsets and resident spinner dolphins, which appear every day around sunrise.

Lovina Beach itself is a long beach stretching over one mile, boasting volcanic sand that is lapped by turquoise waters. Rise early for a dolphin watching cruise and then chill out beachside or by your hotel pool. Lovina Reef has some of the best preserved coral and marine life in Bali, making it ideal if you wish to go snorkelling and diving. From Lovina Beach you can visit Gitgit Village and its three surrounding waterfalls for a taste of local Lovina life, or head to the Banjar Hot Springs. Located just 15 minutes from the beach, you can soak away your troubles in four jungle pools that bubble with their thermal waters. Don’t miss a visit to the beautiful Buddhist monastery, Brahma Vihara Arama, set nearby in the hills of Banjar.

Holidays in Lovina: an authentic taste of Bali

Why not stay at The Lovina Bali, a boutique resort located right on the beach and that boasts a large, refreshing swimming pool and runs its own dolphin watching trips?

“Lovina is a laid-back Balinese paradise, located two and a half hours from Denpasar Airport. The drive there is spectacular, passing rice terraces and the water goddess temple, Pura Ulun Danu. Stop off at Munduk for breath-taking views of twin lakes Tamblingan and Buyan.”

Frequently Asked Questions

From Bali airport or beach resorts on the south of the island the transfer will take around three hours by road. From Ubud the drive will take just over two hours.

Lovina is perfect as part of a multi centre holiday so we'd suggest a minimum of three nights allowing you time to relax on the beach and enjoy a dolphin spotting cruise. If you are after an authentic beach resort which reflects traditional Bali then you may like to stay here for longer. There are a selection of local restaurants so you are not limited to staying within your hotel if you want to get out and about.
