Iguazu Falls - The Argentina side Holidays

As close to the Falls as you can get

These iconic falls, a simply fantastic and awe-inspiring sight. Four times the width of Niagara Falls with 275 cascades spanning both Argentina's and Brazil's border, theymust be seen from both countries.

The Argentine side of the Falls offers a close up experience, this is the side where you can walk through the national park, seeing the Falls from many different angles and positions, including following walkways that take you to the top of the largest and most impressive drop.

The Brazilian side of the Falls offers a wonderful panoramic view, this is where the classic photos are taken from. To wander out on a walk way, taking you close enough to the falling water that you can actually feel the spray wash across you. You will need to be prepared to get a little wet when walking her.

Both sides are definitely worth visiting to get the best overall experience.

Top Tips from our Experts

Mark

Destination Manager

"The best place to stay in the entire national park is the Sheraton hotel on the Argentina side as it has the best view of the Falls out of the two hotels in the national park. The rooms and restuarant look directly towards them."

Gina

"I thoroughly recommend exploring the Argentina and Brazil side of the Falls to get the bet perspective. Each country offers different view points."
