Sample Itinerary
Day 1
Vancouver
Welcome to Vancouver. Enjoy your arrival day at leisure after making your way to your hotel where you will meet your Tour Director.
Day 2
Vancouver
Full day at leisure. We recommend taking a ferry trip (optional) to Victoria Island to take in the sights and sounds of the capital city of British Columbia, Victoria.
Day 3
Vancouver to Seattle
After crossing the Canada/U.S. border the tour heads to Seattle; the jewel of the Northwest. Head downtown to the Seattle Waterfront and take in the fantastic views of Elliott Bay and the Olympic Mountains. For those that can stomach it, a trip up the 520 foot high Space Needle is a must.
Day 4
Seattle to Portland
Depart for Portland, Oregon’s largest city, visiting Mount Rainier National Park and Mount St. Helen’s, both active volcanoes, on route. Mount Rainier is the most glaciated peak in the contiguous U.S. and stands proudly in the Washington landscape.
Day 5
Portland to Coos Bay
Enjoy spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean as you head south along Oregon’s coastline before reaching Newport and Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. Oregon Dunes features wind sculpted sand dunes that tower high above sea level.
Day 6
Coos Bay to Eureka
The rugged Oregon coastline offers further stunning views and endless beaches as you continue your journey south. Head to California’s spectacular Redwood National Park and a forest that dates back as far as the dinosaurs; gaze up at giant Redwoods higher than the Statue of Liberty dominating the skyline.
Day 7
Eureka to Sonoma
Depart Eureka and continue towards Sonoma, travelling across California Wine Country and home to perfect grape growing conditions. This region possesses some of the most famous wineries in the world.
Day 8
Sonoma to San Francisco
This morning we head to San Francisco across the iconic Golden Gate Bridge and arrive in the City by the Bay. A trip on a cable car, a visit to famous Alcatraz, a stroll on the piers eating some of the local dishes – San Francisco is a fabulous city to explore.
Day 9
San Francisco
Enjoy your final day in San Francisco before transferring to the airport independently for your onward travel.
