Boat Trip On The Mae Ping River

This four-hour river cruise will see you gently meander up the River Ping, venturing out of Chiang Mai for a relaxing trip with a local guide.

As you leave the city behind the river scenery changes, with lush green foliage, children playing on the banks, authentic teak houses, and the chance to spot wildlife. After a relaxing journey upstream, you will stop at a local farmer's house, where the dish Kao Soi will be freshly prepared for you. This dish of spicy noodle curry soup is a local favourite, and it's easy to see why.  

Prepared with fine local ingredients, you will enjoy Kao Soi Baan Chao Na at the Farmer’s Landing.  Containing fresh yellow egg noodles, fresh coconut milk straight out of the shell and Baan Chao Na: an authentic local chilli paste, made to a special family recipe.

After this, enjoy a snack of seasonal fresh fruits and enjoy the sweet, refreshing taste of lemongrass and herb juices, before heading back down the river.
