Top of your list when you holiday in Las Vegas is of course a visit to the dramatic and stunning sights of the Grand Canyon. But Las Vegas has literally everything you could possible think of to entertain you from this 24 hour city in Nevada’s Mojave Desert. Shopping? Check. Roller Coasters? Yes. Acrobatic performances and world renowned artists? Absolutely. The list is pretty much endless so you really will find it hard to choose just a few on your holiday to Las Vegas. Head downtown to learn about when the mob ruled the time at the Mob Museum or see the old world famous signs of Las Vegas in the Neon Boneyard at the Neon Museum. Immerse yourself in jaw-dropping acrobatics and listen to the iconic music of Michael Jackson ONE or The Beatles LOVE at a Cirque du Soleil show, spectate at boxing fights or get married. You can walk the Las Vegas Strip for free and watch the dancing fountains of the Bellagio, have dinner in the Eiffel Tower or ride a gondola through the Venetian Canals. Las Vegas really is the place to try new things that you would never have the chance to do so.

  • Aerial Acrobats

    See a show

Everything is bigger and better in Las Vegas, which makes it at a perfect place to take in a show. Love magic? Penn and Teller’s Rio residency is sure to amaze and delight. How about the circus? The award winning Cirque de Soleil puts on an incredible spectacle at the Bellagio. Major comedians and musical acts also appear at venues across the city throughout the year.

  • Visit a casino

It wouldn’t be a trip to Vegas without placing a bet in a casino. Whether you’re a seasoned gambler or a total beginner, you’re sure to be blown away by the glitz and glamour. At the tables croupiers deal cards, while slot machines call out their siren song. Most casinos offer free drinks for players. Pick up some chips and get into the Vegas spirit.

  • Visit the Hoover Dam

The Hoover Dam was constructed in the 1930s to create Lake Mead, the largest reservoir in the United States, and to provide hydro-power for the surrounding area. The structure stands in a vast gorge and is a remarkable sight. Tours of the dam and the power plant are available, but it’s first come first served - so you’ll need to arrive early.
