Our multi-centre in South Africa combines beautiful metropolitan Cape Town with the wide open vistas and incredible biodiversity of Kruger National Park. South Africa is a country of remarkable contrasts.
Your journey begins in Cape Town, South Africa’s capital of culture. With its world class galleries, vibrant cafés and superb restaurant scene, this city gives an impression of boundless energy. There's so much to see and do. Table Mountain, the distinctive summit on the edge of town, provides awe inspiring views across the city to the sea beyond. Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela spent the bulk of his 27 year prison sentence, is another must visit.
Kruger National Park is the perfect complement to a trip to Cape Town. The park’s home to countless species of plants and animals, including the Big Five. It’s a great place to dip your toes into South Africa’s celebrated wilderness. You’ll spend your time in the park out on game drives, walking in the bush and spotting wildlife, before returning to your luxurious lodge as dusk falls.

Start your Journey
Visit fascinating, beautiful Cape Town. Here brightly coloured houses tumble down the hills, elegant colonial buildings line the streets and grand museums keep history alive. Restaurants serve up cutting edge cuisine, clever street art illuminates city blocks and contemporary galleries pose questions on the past, present and future.
Take a cable car up to the top of Table Mountain at sunset for a view you’ll never forget. At Robben Island you can walk in Nelson Mandela’s footsteps. The great man spent 18 years in captivity here, gazing out across the bay at the city lights before he was finally freed in 1990.
Around the city you’ll find world class vineyards where you can enjoy a tasting. The gorgeous Cape Peninsula is also just an hour’s drive away. It’s home to rugged headlands and foaming seas, while Boulders Beach offers the chance to get up close to penguins. Cape Town should be on every South African holiday itinerary.
Kruger National Park
You’re spoiled for choice when it comes to South African national parks, but Kruger is among the best. It’s only a two hour flight from Cape Town, but you might as well be in a different world.
Spanning 19,485 square km, this truly vast park is home to an astonishing range of wildlife. It boasts more large mammals than any other African game reserve, including all of the Big Five. You’ll also have the chance to see animals you won’t find anywhere else in the same numbers, including the rare African wild dog. You’ll spend your days exploring and your evenings relaxing in luxurious accommodation in the heart of the park, where you can watch the sun go down on the landscape with a chilled glass of South Africa’s famous Sauvignon Blanc in hand.
