Start your Journey
Kuala Lumpur
Start your Malaysia multi centre holiday with a trip to Kuala Lumpur, the country’s ultra modern capital. To explore all that the city has to offer we recommend spending a minimum of three nights here, as there is so much to do.
The most iconic buildings of Kuala Lumpur are the looming Petronas Towers that dominate the city’s skyline. Stand beneath them and you’ll feel tiny.
Kuala Lumpur is a foodie’s haven, and Malaysian food mixes influences of Indian, Chinese, Indonesia, and Thai culture. As you can imagine, this results in fare that’s both unique and delicious. From street food stalls to Michelin starred menus, you’ll find it all here.
While most of the wildlife comes with your trip to Borneo, in Kuala Lumpur you have the chance to observe glimmering and twinkling fireflies in their natural habitat. Head to Kuala Selangor to admire the tiny creatures that shine and sparkle in the trees.
Borneo
Borneo is a wildlife lover’s paradise. The island is full of verdant green rain forest and some of the most diverse fauna found on earth, many of which are sadly endangered. However, that makes Borneo one of the best sites for spotting rare and elusive wildlife.
Our Orangutang Experience is a day trip to Sandakan, and includes a visit to the renowned Sepilok Orang-utan Rehabilitation Centre. Here orphaned orangutans are rescued from logging sites, plantations and illegal hunting. Many of the orphaned orangutans were also previously kept as pets. The organisation is run to protect and look after the remaining orangutan populations and raise awareness of the creature’s troubles worldwide.
Should you wish for some relaxation from your city trip and your wildlife excursions, Borneo is home to plenty of idyllic beaches and luxury hotels and resorts.
