Start your Journey
Oahu, HI
Arrive at Oahu. Our representative will meet you at the exit of the baggage claim area, holding a signboard with your name. You will be assisted with your luggage and introduced to your chauffeur. Transfer from Honolulu airport to your hotel in a private SUV. For your convenience, we have already included driver gratuity.
Hawaii’s third-largest island, Oahu boasts a rich cultural heritage, stunning beaches, and unspoilt tropical scenery. It’s home to Honolulu, the state capital, and the historic Pearl Harbor naval base.
Visit Iolani Palace, the only royal palace in the US. Snorkel in Hanauma Bay to see colourful marine life and at Waikiki Beach, overlooking Diamond Head crater, enjoy vibrant nightlife, dining, and shopping. Explore the Windward Coast’s valleys with its rustic ranches and pineapple and sugarcane fields.
Wander through the world’s largest pineapple maze at the Dole Plantation and savour a Dole Whip treat. At Pearl Harbor National Memorial, learn about America’s role in the Second World War. At the Polynesian Cultural Center, join the Ali’i Luau, a traditional feast with local dishes like imu-roasted pork and lomi-lomi salmon, served with lively entertainment.
Group Tour of Pearl Harbor
Revisit the defining moments of the Second World War at Pearl Harbor. In the morning, you will be collected from your hotel and driven to the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center on Oahu. At the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum, view an impressive range of aircraft from Japanese Zeros to modern fighter jets. Then ascend the Ford Island Control Tower for sweeping views. Your guide will share insight into Hawaii’s wartime history.
Next, take a short boat ride to the USS Arizona Memorial. Once you reach, walk across the bridge above the sunken battleship and enter the Shrine Room, where the names of the 1,177 fallen servicemen are inscribed.
Later, board the Battleship Missouri with a docent. Stand on the Surrender Deck, where the war formally ended, and explore the gun turrets and living quarters.
After lunch at the Ford Island Bistro, spend the afternoon exploring the grounds on your own before heading back to your hotel.
Lanai
Board your half-hour flight from Oahu to Lanai. From Lanai airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in a shared vehicle organised by your hotel.
Lanai is the smallest inhabited island in Hawaii. Locally known as Pineapple Island, it was once entirely a pineapple plantation. You can reach Lanai via a short ferry ride from Maui or by flying into its airport. The island is largely undeveloped, with few paved roads.
Lanai City, in the central highlands at 1,700 ft, is the island’s only significant town. It has a few shops and galleries selling clothes and artwork. There are three golf courses—two private, one public. Due to limited roads, the best way to get around is by hiring a four-wheel drive vehicle, though some hotels offer shuttles to key sites.
Don’t miss the Garden of the Gods (Keahiakawelo), a surreal orange landscape, with boulders and rock towers, that resembles Mars. Walk along Shipwreck Beach to spot WWII shipwrecks. Or hike the 13-mile Munro Trail, which offers panoramic views of all six major Hawaiian Islands from its lookout point.
