The first stop will be Ladd Koh View Point for panoramic views of the famous, powdery sand Chaweng Beach. Next stop off at the strange natural formations grandpa rock and grandma rock, which have been fashioned through the years by the elements into amusingly shaped sculptures. Visit Wat Kunaram to pay respect to the mummified body of Luang Por Daeng, who died more than 30 years ago in a sitting position of meditation. His body shows very few signs of any major decay. You will stop at Na Muang Waterfall with its impressive 18-metre drop, cascading into a natural pool below.
You will have time for shopping at Nathon town, the capital of Koh Samui. The Big Buddha, a large statue of Lord Buddha is the dominating feature on a hill top and can be reached by walking up the steps to the big gallery for an amazing bird’s eye view.
