Langjökull Ice Tunnels
Langjökull Ice Tunnels is the world’s largest man-made ice 
tunnel, built into one of Iceland’s most spectacular glaciers. 
A monster-truck ride brings you to the mouth of the tunnel 
from where you can walk 500 metres deep into the glacier. 
Walk through blue-lit corridors and carved chambers. Along 
the way, you can see volcanic ash layers and air bubbles 
trapped in ice formed over centuries.
