4 Day Escorted Tour Itinerary

Arenal Volcano and Monteverde Cloud Forest tour

The ultimate back to nature experience

Costa Rica's rainforests and volcanoes are a remarkable sight. Arenal is one of the world’s most active volcanoes and a fascinating spectacle with red-hot rocks tumbling down its steep slopes and ash columns rising above the vast crater. Nearby, the picturesque La Fortuna Waterfall is a 70-metre ribbon of water, which falls into a natural swimming hole, surrounded by lush tropical forest. At beautiful Caño Negro, take a river safari through the rainforest to spot birds, waterfowl and a host of exotic animals, and then climb through the mountains towards Monteverde Cloud Forest. Take a fascinating bridge walk through the forest canopy, home to more than 100 species of mammals, over 400 species of birds and thousands of insect and plant species.

Our Experts Recommend:
  • Hike to La Fortuna for a leisurely swim
  • Visit the volcanoes in Arenal
  • Cross the cloud forest of Monteverde
