Chengdu holidays offer you a perfect balance: you can escape into relaxation while experiencing an array of cultural activities. Feel like an explorer as you delve into Chengdu, the capital of China’s Sichuan province, with its fascinating history and captivating experiences. There’s so much to do in this vibrant and friendly city that families, couples, and carefree travellers alike will find inspiration here.

If you love animals then we recommend a visit to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, where you can learn about the conservation of China’s most endangered creatures: giant pandas and red pandas. The history of Chengdu dates back to the 4th century and you can turn back the clock with a trip to the Sanxingdui Museum. This extensive museum includes artefacts from a relic site that experts believe could have been the capital of ancient Shu. The site was found with over 3,000 years’ worth of historical relics just waiting to be discovered.
