What We Do
Change begins at home, or in this case, at our office. We are constantly brainstorming ideas on how to make our workplace a more sustainable one. Some initiatives we have implemented in our offices include reducing plastic and paper, recycling, minimising carbon emission and investing in carbon mitigating measures. Additionally, creating awareness about sustainability among our staff members is a continuous and ongoing process. These actions have been recognised and earned many of our offices a Travelife Partner Certificate for green operations.
Our team members share our vision for an environmentally sensitive workspace and are always looking to make a positive change in their offices and communities. We are proud that our office spaces are free of single-use plastic. Our teams segregate waste, practice recycling and try to reduce waste by minimising printer usage and printed travel documents. Along with conducting clean-up drives around our offices and encouraging flexible working hours, we have been exploring and taking small yet impactful steps to reaffirm our commitment to sustainable travel.
Community Initiatives
Our offices and team members around the world are part of several creative initiatives aimed at improving their cities.
- Our team members from our India offices volunteer with The Ugly Indian, a public driven initiative aimed at keeping the city’s public parks and streets clean.
- Our Nairobi team is focused on keeping their city and its many tourist spots clean by conducting frequent clean up drives.
- We are currently piloting replacing all plastic bottles from our guest vehicles in our Asia destinations and replacing them with more eco-friendly options.
