Giraffe Manor

Giraffe Manor Hotel is located on the edge of Nairobi National Park, just outside Kenya’s capital city of Nairobi. The 12-roomed boutique residence was once home to Betty and Jock Leslie-Melville, conservationists who began the re-homing of the Rothchild giraffes. Built in the 1930s, many of the rooms retain original features, providing a seamless blend of comfort and luxury. The iconic manor is set amongst a sprawling 12 acres of private land within 140 acres of forest land where wild giraffes roam free; they often poke their heads through open windows of the hotel so anticipate a truly unforgettable experience.

Head into Nairobi National Park on a guided safari or take a walking tour of the Giraffe Manor’s grounds. Guests of all ages are provided for at this hotel and all will be enthralled at the sight of the majestic animals. Itineraries are available for those who want an action packed African adventure and for those who want to sit back and relax, there is no better setting than the sunny terraces and verdant lawns.
