Illuminated at night, the citys most iconic structures, the Petronas Towers, sparkle. But for me, the real highlight was tasting my way through KL on a Vespa foodie tour. Riding pillion with my driver-guide, I got to experience a little bit of Malaysias history and diverse cultures and cuisines.Our first stop (and my favourite) was Wai Sek Kailiterally Glutton Streeta legendary hawker food street in the old part of town that opens up only in the evening. It was packed with Chinese food stalls, and tables spilling into the street. I slurped noodles, sampled dumplings, and lost track of how many dishes I tried. From there, we zipped through little streets, then headed to night markets and Little India, where flower garlands perfumed the streets while we tried different dishes and curries.
