The Best of Zimbabwe

Go off the beaten track in Zimbabwe

Embark on a journey around Zimbabwe on our thrilling 10-day escorted tour, visiting the stunning reserves this often overlooked country has to offer. Explore incredible contrasting landscapes – from the expansive grasslands and watering holes of Hwange National Park, to the roaring torrents of the mighty Victoria Falls, resting your head in an excellent combination of both luxury and more traditional, rustic accommodation. Here you’ll embark on some of the best safari experiences possible in Africa, whether you are a first-timer or a seasoned veteran of the plains.

After taking in the sheer power of the Smoke That Thunders, you’ll begin your safari adventure in Hwange National Park, tracking the Big Five, the Presidential Elephant Herd, and a whole host of its fascinating wild inhabitants, including zebras, gemsbok, civets and wild dogs. From here, you’ll journey down to the little-known Matobo National Park, where the San Bushman left inscriptions in caves and on rocks over 2,000 years ago. One of few remaining places in Africa to track both white and black rhino, Matobo is also abundant with black eagles, and known for the strange balancing granite formations of Matobo Hills.

Finally, you’ll head to Gonarezhou National Park – the perfect place see the towering red Chilojo Cliffs, interact with the local Shangaan Tribe, and spot lions, giraffe, hippos, wildebeest and hyena.
