Livingstone Holidays

On the banks of the Zambezi

Native tribes named it Mosi-oa-Tunya (The Smoke Which Thunders); at twice the height of Niagara Falls, the jaw-dropping Victoria Falls divides Zambia from Zimbabwe with its enormous walls of water and seemingly impenetrable mists that linger for miles.

Take in incredible views as you cross the 111-metre-high Victoria Falls Bridge, passing by fearless bungee jumpers to watch the otherwise calm blue-green waters of the Zambezi River plummet 108 metres into the gorge below with a thunderous roar. Experience the sheer power of the wild waters below as part of a white water rafting excursion, before peering over the edge of the awe-inspiring Devil's Pool.

Then, as the sun sets on Zambia, take a relaxing cruise down the Zambezi, keeping a look out for hippos and crocodiles as wildebeest and zebra cautiously drink from the river.
