Wheelchair unfriendly

When I booked my reservation, I wanted to use my points to pay for the ADA room. They said my points could be used for a non-ADA room but not an ADA room. I told the reservation agent besides being unconscionable isn’t that potentially illegal. The agent checked with the manager. Their solution was to book the non-ADA room and they would send a request by email for the ADA room. We would find out at check in if our request could be accommodated - they couldn’t guarantee we would get the ADA room if we used points. The hotel could guarantee the ADA room if we paid by cash. We were forced to pay by cash because we needed certainty. I have over 800 nights staying in this so called loyalty program. So I want everyone to know how little they think of loyalty, how worthless your points are and how they treat people with disabilities.
