This fantastic two night tour from Hanoi will take you to discover some of Vietnam's most beautiful rural scenery. From your base in Ninh Binh you will explore Tam Coc, also known as "Halong Bay on land" with its many limestone cliffs and caves rising out of the rice paddies; along with the ancient capital Hoa Lu. This 10th century royal city was home to both the Dinh and Le dynasties and the scenic ruins are well worth exploring. Your last stop will be the idyllic valley area of Mai Chau, surrounded by lush paddy fields, best explored by bicycle.
