Zion Lodge Cabins

Kansas City, Missouri

We stayed in a Cabin for one night in May 2018. Loved the location next to the lounge and near the bus stop. Cabin was cute (we had two double beds) and had a nice kitchenette and a decent bathroom. The porch was nice for setting on in the evening and looking at the stars. I would recommend the cabins for your stay.

The Cabin experience is wonderful!

Ipswich, United Kingdom

This was our sixth visit to Zion, but the first time we have stayed in a cabin, rather than in one of the lodges, and we like it very much! Surrounded on all sides by extraordinary views, the wooden cabin is decorated very traditionally - design, furniture and fabrics in tune with the surrounding landscape. There’s no TV (excellent!) and terrible wi-fi (also a bonus - you don't see kids with their heads buried in their phones!), but in the dressing room area there is a microwave, fridge and safe, along with all the other facilities you would expect. The main space is dominated by two very comfortable queen size beds, with two armchairs, desk etc, plus a gas-powered fire in one corner, should you need it. The air-con is effective, and there’s also a big ceiling fan. Unlike the lodge rooms, there are two sinks, one in the dressing room area and one in the bathroom. Outside there is a veranda with a small bench. We missed the rocking chairs that are to be found outside the lodge rooms, but that’s a small price to pay for such a delightful, cosy living space. When we return to Zion Canyon in the future, we will certainly make a cabin our first choice. Guest parking is easy, very close to the lodge. Cars are not permitted to venture deeper in to the Canyon, but the free shuttle service runs regularly throughout the day, every few minutes during busy periods, so getting around and reaching the many Zion trailheads is easy. Staff are amazing - warm, friendly, helpful and attentive. Zion is an exceptional park, with any number of unique and beautiful trails, and a Zion Lodge Cabin is a perfect launch point! Book well in advance (a year minimum). Zion Lodge hosts a huge number of short-stay coach parties. On one of the (sold out) nights we were there, front desk told us they were hosting only 27 independent guests.
