Sunny Scottsdale

Springfield, United States

We stayed at Hyatt Gainey Ranch for 4 nights. Really pretty grounds. Loved the space that this resort has and once you are on site you really don't have to leave. Mike was great who took us to hike one day and Christopher in the restaurant was great too. Resort fees are high when you have more than one room, but otherwise nice hotel.

Visiting the kids at college

Carmel, California

The Hyatt is a beautiful Hotel. The lobby opens up to a nice bar lounge where they have live music in the evenings and the food was delicious. The grounds are beautiful and meticulously cared for. We got to meet a peregrine falcon in the courtyard who was there with his trainer teaching about conservation and caring for our wildlife. Very interesting!! Our room was basic with not much of a view but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was updated nicely. It did have a 65in TV in the room. One issue that did arise is the thermostat quit working and the room got warm but they sent maintenance and he had it working again quickly. We ordered room service and it was fast and the food was really good. Valet could be frustrating the guys were not always paying attention and you would have to literally go find them to ask to get your car. Overall it was a great hotel and we enjoyed our stay.
