So Close to the Lakr

Yonkers, New York

Stayed hear at the Lake Powell Resort for two nights with a tour group. It’s so close to the lake with such a magnificent view. The room was spacious and clean. TV in the room with a fridge also. Bathroom nice and clean with shampoo, conditioner and soap so no need to bring your own. There are two pools on the property with hot tubs as well. The property is landscaped beautifully. There are two restaurants on the property and a gift shop. You can arrange for a boat ride on the lake which is down a pathway. I was there in the fall and it was beautiful and not crowded. This would be even better in the summer months with much to do on the lake.

Good place to stay for the Rainbow Bridge boat tour

This is a nice place to stay - rooms were fine and it was super convenient for the early morning departure time for the Rainbow Bridge boat tour. We paid for a lake view room, but we could not see the lake from our room - there was a fenced in pool area blocking our view. The lake view from other spots (not our room, unfortunately) was very pretty. The food at the more causal restaurant was good and the waiter was super friendly.
