Alaskan Summer Motorcycle Tour

If you’re a keen biker then nothing beats driving on some of the world’s most picturesque highways in the peak of the Alaskan summer. This once in a lifetime trip allows you to take in jaw dropping natural landscapes as you soar past frosty glaciers, looming mountains and thick forests on your bike.

Some of the famous viewpoints you’ll visit include the icy Matanuska Glacier, the sparkling Kenai Lake and Denali, North America’s highest peak. You’ll also spend the night on the Denali Highway, which is tucked away in the remote heart of the bush. Make sure to appreciate the stars as they glitter brightly against the night’s sky.

As you ride, keep an eye out for Alaska’s famous wildlife, including moose, bear, sheep, eagles and bison. In the city of Valdez, there’s even a viewing spot where you can observe bears fishing and feasting in full view.

As well as soaking up world class views, you’ll also have the chance to explore some of Alaska’s fascinating cities. Start in Anchorage, Alaska’s largest. Bustling with activity, discover all that the city has to offer either on foot or by bicycle. Although it’s the state’s biggest city, bears and moose still frequent the area so keep an eye out for a glimpse of these fascinating beasts.

Talkeetna is smaller than Anchorage but offers plenty of character and charm. Spend the day fishing in the river and making the most of your time spent outdoors in sublime surroundings.
