Rude Staff in the Restaurant

Kirkland, Illinois

We had drove over to see the Plantation house from New Orleans. My best friend and his fiancé wanted to take some engagement photos on the grounds. I had remembered how beautiful it was from a previous visit and they got some beautiful photos. We walked around the grounds for about an hour and they got some beautiful photos. At the end of our tour we were going to go and eat lunch in the Mansion Restaurant. There were 7 people in our group. I checked in at the hostess stand. The rude employee working the hostess stand said that the restaurant was full and that there were two groups ahead of us. I asked her how long the wait was going to be. She never replied. Another lady came to the hostess stand and told our group to wait in the bar and someone would be with us to tell us how long the wait was going to be. We all took a seat at the bar but no one ever come to help us. We left after waiting about 20 minutes in the bar. They obviously didn’t want our business.

Saint Martinville

We checked in Saturday afternoon. I wish we would have known that they served lunch and dinner also. We went to Baton Rouge for an early dinner. We stayed in the honeymoon suite. We will go back during the summer time cause they have a private pool in the honeymoon package.
