Did not meet our expectations.

Atlanta, Georgia

We booked a “Fabulous Room” with a king bed. We are SPG gold, by dis not get an upgrade. Our room, and the hotel in general, felt worn and in need of an update. The biggest problem was the air conditioning did not work well. The thermostat remained set on 60, but the room never got cool. We requested service, which never happened. The bathroom was dimly lit and hot. The courtyard was pretty, and the location was good.

Fins stands out as one of the best restaurants in America. Hosts greet you in suits/ties looking like the true professionals they are. Same for well dressed hostesses. A great menu featuring fish and a variety of New Orleans favorites. Try the lobster dumplings as an appetizer and the Mangrove fish as an entree. Wait staff are also pros well dressed and groomed in a city where nearly everyone can be casual to the point of grubby. A footnote on the bottom of the menu advises guests phones are not permitted in the dining room( so your meal isn’t interrupted by a phone call at the next table). In addition, Fins also requires men to remove their hates in the ding room. In short Fins wants its guests to respect each other while enjoying one of the best dining experiences in the country.
