15 minutes away from the Airport. Great location in downtown! Great lobby so elegant & clean white colors. Super clean Room with clean sheets brand new sheets and soft pillows. Clean carpet. Spacious countertops so contemporary look. Big LG tv. Tea and Starbucks coffee is complementary in the room. Small fridge and safety box. Great downtown view. Good size of gym with small indoor swimming pool is attached on Ground floor. A bunch of restaurants are walking distance from the hotel. Staffs are very friendly and welcoming!

Very loud at night, extra charges at end

The staff at this hotel are very friendly and helpful! Atticus was among our favorites. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the daily spot of champagne that they offered in the lobby, as well as the hot chocolate/hot apple cider station (although please use actual cider if that's what the sign says--this tasted like warm apple juice--not the same as actual cider). It was very helpful to have the shuttle service as well as umbrellas lent to us when it was rainy. We had a nice view outside, although each morning we woke up there was a considerable amount of condensation on the inside of the window which I believe was due to not having vents in the bathroom for when you are taking a shower. This is an upgrade that they definitely need here. They used to have a program where you could get a $5 voucher per day for their gift shop's coffee for choosing not use their daily housekeeping services, which is great for their environment, but they recently discontinued that program, which was a disappointment. The inner design of the hotel is such that the atrium goes all the way to the top of the hotel. This serves as an upward tunnel for all the sound going on at the first floor where the lobby and bar/restaurant are located. Being on the 7th floor, we could hear everything going on down on the 1st floor, which included loud people at the bar during evening sleeping hours. Our friends had a quiet night's sleep in a room higher up, in the teens, so if you are a light sleeper ask for a room much higher up. They advertise the hotel's design as a good thing; it does look neat, but it does also impede sleep if you are on a lower floor. Do be aware than on top of the quite-expensive nightly cost for a room here that they add an "amenity fee" of $17 per day will be added at the end. This includes shuttle services (whether you use it or not), WI-FI (really?), and access to their computer work station, gym, etc. They placed a $100 hold on our credit card at check-in and joked that it was for if someone put a hole in the wall, but never mentioned this daily fee and that the card would be charged for that. While it mentions this fee on their own website, it is not necessarily clear if you book this hotel on a secondary travel website. This is why they need to be VERY clear about it upon check-in. They should just charge $17 more per night and say that there is free WI-FI, office, and shuttle service! This would go over much better than a surprise charge at the end. While this was a pretty good place to stay, if we return to Nashville we would likely explore other options for a hotel, including places that are more quiet at night and that are more up-front about their extra charges.
