Sheraton New Orleans

Everything you need for relaxing

Located in the heart of New Orleans on the edge of the French Quarter, the Sheraton New Orleans is just a short walk from Bourbon Street and the city's best shopping and dining areas. There's a lovely rooftop pool area boasting great views across the city and the hotel also houses the Roux bistro for traditional Creole and Cajun cuisine and the popular Pelican Bar which is reminiscent of a typical French Quarter courtyard.

Not Marriott Standards at all. Wow the was a horrible trip

We have stayed at the hotel several times in the past so i was optimistic that we would have a comfortable stay. This hotel really needs freshening up. I would have thought since Marriott purchased the chain it would have never fallen to these standards. I have recently joined the rewards program since i use the brand often and i thought it would give me some perks at check in.I was still charged for wifi. We arrived in town very late and didn't realize until 1 am that our ac did not work and the shower was broke. i could not even take a bath.I came down the next morning to address the issues and the hotel personal apologized and switched rooms for the next night. So the 1st night was terrible and none of us got any sleep. The second room was dingy and reeked of weed. The ac did however work in the new room. The bathroom was a different story. I stay in the city a lot and i have been in better bathrooms at the 2 star level. There was feces near the toilet paper roll on the wall and the tub did not drain at all. All in all i was embarrassed and after complaining the 1st night i assumed there was nothing elts the hotel could do. My name is Justin A. Wells. I will be back in the city the weekend of the 14th but i will be looking for another Marriott to stay at. I was actually appalled that i wasn't offered points or at least a night refund. What I can say is that the ladies at the front desk were ver pleasant i just wish more was done for me. This put a damper on the second day we were there

Stay somewhere else

The hotel staff was friendly but we were not happy with the rooms at all. The pillows are old and our heads touched the mattress while laying on them. The walls are paper thin and the next rooms tv is next to the bed so during our stay we heard that and people’s conversations next door plain as day. We had a leak in our bathroom from the upstairs rooms bathtub. The shower pressure was non existent and housekeeping did not replace necessities such as conditioner, coffee and creamer. We will never stay at a Sheraton again.
