Hotel OK, but...

Hotel and breakfast are OK. But if you need to reach somebody to have the bill changed, nobody is responding unless you call the manager on duty, who then handled the issue nicely. Beware of having packages send to you. This Hotel charges $7.50 per package as a handling charge. While leaving some $800 for my accomodation, I would have considered this to be included in the basic services of a hotel.

Westin Uptown

Washington, DC

The Westin is a nice hotel in a small complex known as Uptown. There are 7 restaurants in the complex connected to the Sheraton, Convention Center, and Hall of Fame. Good-- Friendly staff, clean rooms, and a variety of dining options. Bad--The area outside of the complex leaves a lot to be desired. There are not any shopping or entertainment facilities (with the exception of Top Golf) nearby. I would stay at this hotel if visiting the convention center or for business.
