A sense of history but not very practical

Bellefontaine, Ohio

First trip to Yellowstone. On friends recommendation, stayed here for 4 days. The common areas that have been updated are Very nice. The rooms are average at best. We had a bathroom included room on the 2nd floor. It was extremely hot. We had the radiator turned off and the window open the entire stay. Being photographers the electrical situation ,(lack of outlets) was an issue. Juggling CPAP machine, phones, camera battery charging was an issue. Small room- small bed- no work area was also negatives. On positive hotel was extremely clean. Positive employee attitudes. It was nice to stay in an historic hotel but just did not fit our needs.

Clean compact cabins but no AC. Elk right outside the door and a close walk to the Mammoth Hot Springs and restaraunts.

St. Paul, MN

It was like stepping back into the 1930's or 40's when we walked into our cute cabin. We were greeted by elk roaming in front of the hotel where we checked in. Friendly employees from the front desk to the room service. Comfy beds and a clean place to stay.
