Traditional lodge near Yellowstone National Park

Located close to the Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone Lake and approximately only 20 miles from Old Faithful, Grant Village is a great value lodge offering plenty of activities from horse riding to boating. Completed in 1984, the complex comprises of six two story buildings each containing 50 rooms. Rooms are in keeping with the natural surroundings and attractively furnished to provide a comfortable stay but Grant Village is all about the surroundings.- set in miles of forest and natural landscape.

This place was too basic and having to pay for WiFi considering the price of the room was not good. The room was very dated as well as the whole look and feel of the hotel. Not worth the money and a let down

Friendly reception, small but quiet room

Chicago, Illinois

I'm not sure why this is the lowest ranked Yellowstone lodge because it was our second favourite accommodation in Yellowstone (after Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel and Cabin). Service was way better than Old Faithful Inn, and the lodges felt more intimate and was much quieter than the sprawling Canyon Lodge and Cabins. The reception desk was very warm and friendly, and check in was fast. We stayed in room 2219 (premium room with 1 queen bed on the first floor). Although it was the smallest room we had in Yellowstone, it was better equipped than others. There is a fridge and coffee maker. There is no microwave, and the closest microwave is located in the Grant Village Service Station for those who are considering bringing their own food (we did and highly recommend it). We had a good night's rest as it was very quiet.
