Glacier National Park - Montana

Visit Glacier National Park and you'll soon be exploring the alpine meadows, rugged mountains, pristine forests and spectacular lakes of Montana.

We recommend a day hiking along some of the 700 miles of trails among the solitude and wilderness. Just a short walk from the Gunsight Pass trailhead is the Jackson Glacier Overlook; steal a telescopic view of the park's fifth largest glacier that sits next to one of the highest peaks in the park - more than worth the walk. Here, you can relive the old frontier way of life through historic chalets, old fashioned transportation, cosy lodges and age-old stories on the Native Americans.
