The Carolinas Holidays

Experience the southern charm and old world elegance of North and South Carolina. From the sandy barrier islands of the Atlantic Ocean to the ancient mountains in the west, we love North Carolina for its individual communities and variety of soulful cultures where Old and New South collide. Take an unforgettable road trip on the legendary scenic routes along the coastline, through the Appalachian Mountains and along the picturesque Blue Ridge Parkway, then if you can squeeze it in, head to Wilmington and discover why North Carolina is known as ‘basketball country’.

Step back in time in South Carolina. Home to age-old traditions, colonial heritage and historical, laidback towns. Thanks to its vibrant culture and breathtaking natural beauty, South Carolina has become the crown jewel of the Deep South’s crown. Explore old plantations that date back as far as the 1700’s; laze about on one of the many sandy beaches and wander through Charleston to soak up the charming atmosphere.

Tour more of the USA’s East Coast in one trip: from South Carolina, head to Washington DC to marvel at historic monuments, or visit New York for a spot of retail therapy and an evening on Broadway.
