Visited during spring break

Ajax, Canada

Just got back from wildcatter. Service: excellent Breakfast : mediocre, but good for my infant child. Atmosphere: very cozy, quaint place. Rooms: we stayed in the Graham family cabin. Very clean, comfortable, spacious. Loved everything about the room. Our own little patio too! Activities : husband took a horse back riding trip and loved it. He would do it again. I did archery and tomahawk throwing. I loved it and would do it again, even just to hang out with the instructor. Haha. He was such a cool laid back dude. Pool and hot tub: hot tub was good, wish the pool was heated. The views are great!! Loved being able to feed the longhorns every morning at 9AM!! Such an amazing experience!! Would definitely visit again in the warmer months!! It must be even more beautiful when the tree leaves come in.

Brits visit to the wildcatter ranch

England, United Kingdom

Me and my girlfriend visited this ranch in March 2019 for 3 nights during the spring break period. The ranch is very vast and most locations on the ranch you have to drive to. The weather on one day was bad and we found that there was not much to do on the ranch other than drink in the bar. The restaurant and bar is very average and the food very overpriced for the quality of the food. The bar staff on the other hand are all very friendly and attentive and a good laugh. We stayed in the hotel complex and what I will say is that the rooms are of a very high quality and the noise of the hotel can Barely be heard. What I will say which made this stay amazing was the 90 minute horseback riding with the cowboys. As a novice rider the cowboys showed and made sure that you had half a clue before getting on the horse. The actual ride was amazing riding through the country side past a river. On our second day the weather was warm and we could enjoy the hot tub which was extremely warm with a beautiful view. But the pool which is unheated was cold and could not be ventured into. All in all 4 stars but would recommend if you have a family bring a football.
