Updated and beautiful rooms and everything else

ft myers florida

Location is on the Riverwalk convenient to the boat cruise, the Alamo, Restaurants and downtown The lobby is beautiful , the back of it faces the river and I was able to see the boat parade on one of the Days of the Dead Staff very friendly and helpful Rooms spacious and up to date I especially liked that the curtail went across the glass in one piece There is a restaurant down right on the river but I wanted the breakfast buffet was too pricey for me and also the menu I did have lunch and a dinner there because it was too cold for me to walk too much outside as there was a cold front outside. I was initially charged for coffee that I did not drink but it was corrected with no problem There is also a small food store on the premises and a refrigerator in the room. As a Hilton member I was given free bottles of water and also given extra point for their green program I was there 2 nights . I want to congratulate the staff for their helpfulness & concern about their guests

Great Location

San Jose, California

We booked a river view room here, and overall were very pleased. There’s a loading zone for the Go Rio cruises right across the river from the hotel, so if you stand on the balcony and look down over the railing you can watch the boats being loaded or gently cruising by. There’s also some kind of outdoor event space across from the hotel, so on a Saturday afternoon we actually witnessed someone’s wedding from the balcony. The room itself was also very nice: outlets on the desk, lots of storage, and a handy fridge. There was lots of counter space in the bathroom. We could definitely hear noise coming from outside the hotel, especially late Saturday night, even though we were on the 11th floor. There was also cold seeping in from the door to the balcony, so I suspect more insulation around the door and window would help. Ask for a higher floor if you are sensitive to noise, or a lower floor if you want a closer view of the River walk. There’s a handy coffee place downstairs that’s open until 9 pm; it has sundries, excellent coffee, fruit, and breakfast items in the morning. The valet parking was fast and friendly, but expensive, although it’s similar to what it costs at other hotels on the Riverwalk. The elevators do take a little getting used to: you have to choose the floor before you get in the elevator because there are no room numbers on the panel inside, which is disorienting but works well unless you change your mind after the elevator doors have closed. Also, those elevators are FAST- I don’t think we ever waited more than a few seconds for an elevator to arrive. Overall a good stay.
