2nd Stay- Still not impressed for the price

Dallas, United States

First, I am a hospitality designer with over 14 years of experience. So this is a critical evaluation. But the simplest details were missed, not to mention poor value & service after giving it a 'second chance'. Cons: The point of blackout drapery is to BLACK OUT the room. Both stays have been woken up at sunrise to having the room filled with sunshine. The draperies wouldn't pass any other brand standards, that's for sure. The beds are way to soft and sink in the middle. Some of the most uncomfortable beds we've ever stayed in. After waiting over 30 minutes for a runner to bring an emergency sewing kit to our room, my husband finally went down himself. The total time we waited, 45 mins, with no one in sight and a couple calls. Pros: Rooms are clean and bathrooms are spacious. F&B outlets are great! The sports bar inside the hotel has a great menu, great service, and tons of TVs to view. Best part of our evening!

From the minute my feet touched the property it was a wonderful experience. The people were friendly, the rooms were ready and clean, and the meals were good. Never stayed at a Omni Hotel in the past but will make it my priority in the future. Great bunch of folks here!
