Experience a beguiling mix of history, culture, Cajun hospitality and beautiful landscapes on this 16 day motorhome journey. Begin your trip in one of Texas' most cosmopolitan cities; Houston, before travelling along the Gulf Coast to the beautiful shores of Galveston and Corpus Christi. Next up is San Antonio with its rich Tex-Mex heritage and cuisine before heading to former frontier town Abilene where you can learn about life in the ‘Old West’. Get a taste of the cowboy lifestyle in Fort Worth with a visit to the Historic Stockyards. Next up is Texarkana located in the border region between Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana. Drive down along the Natchez Trace Parkway and be sure to take a tour of some of the beautiful antebellum homes before reaching the ‘Big Easy’. Vibrant New Orleans is brimming with unique attractions from voodoo tours of the over ground cemeteries to the lively bars along Bourbon Street in the historic French Quarter. Make your way through Louisiana’s Creole and Cajun country as you pass through capital Baton Rouge and the beautiful Creole Nature Trail in Lake Charles before returning to the Lone Star State and your starting point Houston to return your trusty motorhome.
