Spend two days exploring this beautiful historic city with its stunning views. We recommend you explore the Freedom Trail, on the two and a half mile trail you'll pass 16 of the city's historic landmarks, including Faneuil Hall, Paul Revere's home and the USS Constitution. If you have time catch a game at Fenway Park or on a non game day take a tour around this historic venue.

Further explore Massachusetts by heading to Salem and experiencing the fascinating history of the witch trails that makes the town famous.Then drive along the coast to the charming harbour towns of Gloucester and Rockport. Enjoy the atmosphere of Portsmouth, New Hampshire and its wealth of historic buildings before crossing into Maine, visit the charming Old Port Exchange for great food, drinks and shopping. Your final destination is Kennebunkport, a haven for writers and artists.

Drive the beautiful Maine Coast to Bar Harbor. Pass through quaint fishing villages where fisherman mark their ground with colourful buoys. Stop for lunch and try a lobster or cup of clam chowder. The next day drive to the entrance of the Acadia National Park on Mt Desert Island. While in Bar Harbor, cruise the Atlantic in search of the whales, explore the mountain trails in the park or simply take in the scenery.

Today your drive takes you inland to the White Mountains, known as the roof to of New England. Visit historic Mount Washington and take the Conway Scenic Railroad or head to the Lakes Region.

Today you'll drive through some of New England's most stunning scenery, stop at Greensboro and visit Wiley's General Store. While in Vermont, tour the world famous Ben & Jerry's ice cream factory, explore the Green Mountains or take time out to visit the traditional New England villages.

Take Route 100, where you'll take in some of the most spectacular scenery in Vermont's Green Mountains. With the dense forest home to bears, moose, wild turkey and deer. See picture perfect villages and some of the famous covered bridges before crossing into Massachusetts.

Pass through a series of wonderful towns, including Lenox. Lenox is the summer home for the Boston Symphony Orchestra. See the Hancock Shaker Village near Pittsfield before continuing on to the city of New port, Rhode Island. Newport was once a prosperous Colonial seaport.

View some of the mansions of Newport, these where the summer vacation homes for some of the most prominent families in America and some are open to the public to view. After sightseeing head along the coast to Cape Cod. Relax on the sandy beaches or go whale watching out on the ocean. A day trip to the beautiful islands of Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard is well worth it.
