good, but...

New Orleans, Louisiana

Large, comfortable room. Very nice staff. Great location. But... While eating breakfast, a mouse ran past my table and into the waitress station, causing the waitresses to scatter into (I think) the kitchen. Later, one of the waitresses said that she "called in" the problem. I subsequently met with the concierge and told him about the issue. He simply said "wow". Later that afternoon, I spoke to someone who offered that he was a manager, and related the full story to him. I do hope that with at least three people knowing about the issue, that it will be quickly and completely resolved.

Best place to stay

Murren, Switzerland

I just returned from a weeklong visit in Philadelphia. The rooms were spacious, very clean. The front desk was very helpful, especially Mr. Hall who knew everything about Philadelphia. The location is 2 blocks from the Independence NPS complex, 1.5 blocks from the Bourse, with quick food, 8 blocks from Chinatown. It is 2-3 blocks from the Delaware River, with many small quirky bars and restaurants. It is 2 blocks from the Metro stop. This will be my hotel of choice for any future Philadelphia trips.
