Great location; exceptional staff

San Antonio, Texas

Stayed 8 days. Lovely hotel with the nicest staff ever! Helped with some issues. On-site restaurant and bar. Walkable destinations in Seattle. Near monorail and Space Needle and Chihuly. Parking convenient but usual Seattle high rates.

Beware of bed bugs on 8th floor

This was suppose to be a great family weekend getaway for us but after our stay it was complete opposite. I used over $300 worth of my credit card points for this hotel for ONE night so I was expecting way more from this hotel. The front staff was fine at check in. We got to our room, there was a hair on the hand towel rack which I thought was odd but brushed it off then I used the face towel to wash my face and it had some dried crust on it. Which was disgusting, just tossed it on the floor. We went to the pool and the water was colder than usual for an indoor pool and the hot tub was just ok, nothing spectacular. Which is also a disappointment cause I picked this place cause of the pool amenity. When we got back from the pool, we smelled marijuana when we walked back to our room from the elevator. This was suppose to be a smoke free hotel. My son complained about being itchy the night and I didn’t think much of it. The next morning, I was super itchy and had all the bumps on the side I was sleeping on. I couldn’t enjoy our time exploring the city and our time at the zoo. I have had previous bed bug experience as I am among a few that are allergic to the bites so I know when I do get bit by them. Now we have to take the unnecessary steps to avoid bringing home any unwanted bugs. I’m just so upset and hope no one stays here if they don’t have to. It’s not worth the money, you might as well pay a bit more some another hotel that’s better. I will definitely not go back again for our next trip.
